Community Tour

Get to know a 3,250 square feet model built in Vila Pereira da Silva, a community situated in Laranjeiras neighborhood, at southern Rio de Janeiro.

Built using bricks and several different recycled materials, the model reproduces a favela in its form and structure. Its unique and innovative character is recognized by experienced art critics as a legitimate contemporary piece of creation, which already attracted all kinds of visitors to the community, including tourists from all over the world.

In this tour you shall experience and get to understand a little bit more about the life on poor neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro, as well as be surprised with a creative alternative for entertainment, which is also an instrument to reflect on the best actions to transform the community daily life.
